If we want to get to heaven, we have to climb the mountain to heaven ourselves. There comes a point along the path of our lives where we realise that our happiness depends on us. We make the choices which lead us down the paths of our lives. We realise that if we want to be happy it is up to us to achieve it. How do we get there, is there any guidance or help available?
There are several organisations or religions who offer different routes. These all operate from this physical plane, with little real guidance on how to scale the heights and challenges we meet in our inner worlds, as we climb our Mountain to Heaven. We soon discover that our path is an individual one. Our own experiences and what we learn in life directs us along a particular path.
Mountain to Heaven, then to God When I started this picture the title I used was Mountain to God. But the mountain I'm showing here only helps us get beyond our worlds of physical stuff, our emotions, memories, mind, intuition and into our Soul's world, or heaven. This is not God, this is heaven, where Soul resides
Our constant pursuit of happiness is really the desire to reconnect with the true happy part of our selves, Soul. Soul lives in heaven. That is its natural home. If we can realise that Soul is where heaven is, then we have a goal to aim for. We can now see the top of the Mountain to Heaven. With the goal of reconnecting with our selves as Soul, in our sights, we begin to see a path up the Mountain to Heaven.
Mountain to Heaven, then to God When I started this picture the title I used was Mountain to God. But the mountain I’m showing here only helps us get beyond our worlds of physical stuff, our emotions, memories, mind, intuition and into our Soul's world, or heaven. This is not God, this is heaven, where Soul resides.
At that point we have an understanding of our true selves, Soul. We realise that God, the Higher Power, the Divine, is responsible for our existence. We become aware of Its love for us. With the realisation that God loves us there is a natural desire to get to know this Divine Source which showers Its love on us. We then begin a quest to understand this source of love, God.
We are Soul with a human body When we reach the top of the mountain, we realise we are Soul with a human body. We no longer see ourselves as a human with a Soul. We realise that deep down, in our true self, we are Soul. Soul dwells in heaven. Soul is constantly happy and if we, our human selves, can connect with our Soul selves, we can bring that happiness into our human world. The light of Soul can shine like sunshine into our human world.
To find our own way up the Mountain to Heaven requires us to focus on the goal of becoming aware of ourselves as Soul. Realising that we are Soul helps bring us closer to heaven. We can then establish a link between our physical world and our true selves, Soul.
See the light of Soul In our busy world our view of the top of the mountain can get clouded over. We loose sight of the light of Soul and can easily return to the living in a dull grey world with cloudy skies. We need to be able to see the light of Soul on a regular basis in order to find our way to Heaven.
The easiest way of reconnecting with Soul, that I have found, is singing the ancient sacred word for God, HU. If we sing this on a daily basis during our contemplation or meditation, it helps us reconnect with our true, happy and God like part, Soul. Doing this every day helps us clear the clouds of our busy physical lives so we can see our way to the top of the Mountain to Heaven.
Wishing you well on your journey up your Mountain to Heaven.

Quality Prints
Your print is a photographic print. It is produced by professional print makers on photographic paper. I use photographic prints because we all know they can last for hundreds of years. These prints a tough. A while ago at one outdoor exhibition some prints got splattered with dirt and rain. When I got home I washed them in the bath and let them drip dry. They were perfect after that. Having said that please keep in mind that they do need care. Don’t have in direct sunlight and try and keep them at room temperature. When framing them, make sure the print doesn’t touch the glass. Keep them in a low humidity area if possible
