On this page I’ve described this picture in detail which deals with life after death. I’ve broken the picture apart to explain my thinking and hopefully give you a better understanding of what happens when we leave this life.
This is probably one of my more ‘in your face’ type images. By that I mean the message is pretty clear. What I’m saying with this piece of spiritual art is ‘life does continue within’.
The coffin
Death is one of the life’s events which cause most unease to people. It is something we don’t want to think about and the less contact we have with it the better.
The Soul
Here is Soul leaving our now dead body. Soul is the true part of our selves which continues to live and have experiences life after life. Soul is a joyous being, always happy and radiates love. It is the part of our selves we strive to reach in our search for happiness.
At the point of death, we as Soul, realise that we have died so many times before in all of our past lives. It is a joyous occasion for us as we are now released from the physical body. We’ve shed our ‘physical suit of cloths’ to return to where we were before we were born.
The Celebration
When we return to our inner worlds we are greeted by our friends and family who have gone before us. It is a party atmosphere as we are welcomed back. It is like arriving back after a trip away. You catch up with your old pals, partners and parents.
